Bored with tours? Time to make a change!!

Even a tour can be made a different one. In the sense, we need not take the same means of transport every time. For instance, not many of us would have traveled in a jeep during a tour for more than an hour. How many of us have ridden a horse-driven cart?? How many of us really like being adventurous?? Now all this might sound crazy… But know what!! It is great to be silly at times and enjoy the ride. Everyone should try how it is to sit in the front seat of a jeep without a door, riding through the sharp hair-pin bends of a misty mountain side. Sounds like fun??!!
We can also think of making a difference in the kind of places we visit. Your list of places to be visited can include hill stations, mountain sides, places of worship, architectural and cultural importance and even theme parks! The agenda can be an equal mix of all such places. This will make sure we just don’t spend time and money visiting the same sort of places repeatedly. (Of course no one can get bored of mountain sides and places of greenery!!) It’s always breathtaking to sit on a calm mountain side with nothing reminding us of the busy metropolitan life.

Tips before planning a tour

The number of days spent on a trip is something we need to decide upon before we get started. The available time, the places worth visiting and the means of transport available etc greatly determine the length of the trip. If the trip turns too tiresome and clumsy no one is going to prefer one for the rest of their lives!! .. (This is about people who are really bothered about orderliness to be maintained in every travel…excluding people who have a passion to travel). Even then, a proper tour plan and a list of things to be taken care of during the tour always come handy.
Delays and spots with a “closed” board hung in front of them are unavoidable during a tour. But the entire process shouldn’t affect the spirit of the journey. Thinking in this regard, we can find something about life. A tour always tells us how to handle petty troubles without losing our spirit.
A nice set of rules for a tour – Have your plan, Try foreseeing problems on the way, Find quick solutions, Make a note of the problem and your solution… Just remember and try to make use of your previous experience. This obviously is not just for a travel.

What is traveling after all!!

Everyone, as a kid, would have got excited about our very first school tour, even if it was to the nearest zoo or theme park. A change of place and change from the daily routine always excites everyone. Looking for a tour-agenda to fit into our work schedule, booking tickets, packing clothes and stuff- these generally are what come into our mind when we think of a tour. But know what traveling is about??!!… It is about opening our minds to change. The ability to happily welcome changes and enjoy them whole-heartedly is what travel is all about.
A person who, in general, doesn’t like to travel, is one who lacks the ‘spirit of adventure’… He or she is just satisfied with what is here in front of him or her… Many of them even disregard the need for a couple of exuberant days in their lives, packed and preoccupied by their busy daily schedule… But life is not all about work… Spending time to lighten up a little and exercising our minds with some different and pleasant thoughts would certainly put us back into track with our routine far more energetic and involved than we can ever be working all time and all day trying in vain to concentrate for a longer time than a normal human mind is designed to..!!!.
